Congratulations Man!

I like the shots a lot. I particularly liked the Dutch as it was timed really well.

Great accomplishment... That murderous mime sure is out for his own gains. Can't wait to see what our anti-hero gets up to next!

Holy WOW! That's some intense animation you got going on there. Atmosphere, mood, feeling, I love it all. Between the music and what's going on in the background, it just grabbed me and sucked me in. Go-go-go, More-more-more!

wow, jeffrey! that's fantastic! it was definitely worth waiting for.

i wanted to hear the crowd cheer or get noisier when he stabs her to cover up her screams, or else hear a faint screaming that could sound like crowd noise if we didn't know what was going on. :)

Hooray! A new animation from Jeffrey to start the year off right. Great command of light and shadow. I also liked the dutch angle and how the camera holds on that segment. The pacing of the editing this animation draws the viewer in to those final moments. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks everybody! And welcome to the blog, Mysterious Ron!

gL, I still havent made up my mind on sound fx yet, its difficult to gauge how detailed to get in a "silent" film. I'm reluctant to add any kind of 'voice', but I want to try adding Su's clicking heels on the cobbles when she runs, I want to try a heartbeat or heavy breathing...I'll have a better feel for it when I have more of the film completed....

I also struggled with the volume of the crowd noise, at one point I had it coming through the right speaker only, which was interesting but too distracting I think....

good point, jeffrey. once you add crowd soundfx the other sounds want to be more real, like clicking heels and rustling clothes, etc. i could see how heartbeat/heavy breathing could be used to good effect!
