The Halfland Octopuss

My good friend Shelley Noble issued a call-to-artists over on her blog a few months ago, seeking a smorgasbord of underwater creatures to populate a scene in her "Halfland". I designed and created the Octopuss for her, basic twisted wire armature with epoxy putty in the head and torso, covered in upholstry foam and painted with latex and black acrylic pax paint, then drybrushed with white acrylic. I can't wait to see it on camera with all of the other critters she has received.
