Considering your last posting and the reference pictures: Before - After the Ubatuber Incident...
Man, you start to scare me. How long does it take you to finfish one of those peices ? Don't get me wrong, they are really greatly done, and I like your way of painting !
Respect.

Thanks Shelley....the whole point of working small with this series is to get a lot done in a small amount of time, so Im trying not to pick on the little things as I have a tendency to do :) Like for example, I'm not completely satisfied with some of the facial expressions on the panicking crowd, and also sort of want to add more detail (like banners and such) to the side of the building, but alas, Im saying "Its done!" :P

In case anyone is curious, the Irish Channel is the area of New Orleans on the Mississippi where the Irish settled in the early 1800s...the structure in the painting is Parasol's, a neighborhood grill and pub which is known city-wide for having the BEST St Patricks Day bash and also the world's finest Roast Beef Po-boy...

Thanks Michael, I enjoy scaring people ;) Its taken me anywhere from 5 to 10 hours each to get these done...

Next up: Streetcar Gremlins!!
